AMERCIAN IDLE (yea, I went for the easy one.) First show of the top 32 idolettes. At this point, the vocal talent is slightly better than the first season, but there's really no reason to remember most these people's names until the top 10. So... which two America choose this week to advance to the top 10? Miami "Dancey-Boy" was out of breath and tune, and for the first time in my life, I'd someone to PLEASE get a haircut. Denim-Cap boy's vocals were smooth, but looked like he stole his big brother's clothes for the event. I agree with Simon that "BigGuy with Spotted Tie" dressed his father better than himself... and his voice simply doesn't have the personality to outweigh his own mass. (cheap shot alert) From the ThinBlackGirl Department.. "her" voice bettered last season's TamyraGray... and this girl is even nicer to look at. "Girl in Hat"... lose the hat and open your mouth. JD Adams... he gets a name... cuz it didn't suck or sound like a name assembled while under the influence. Good voice. Easy to look at, but only two get thru. I echo my own favorites as the again, virtually nameless "dualing bitches", as naphleon shares? ak agrees. I will, however, throw in "Tamyra's Revenge" as a swing vote. And... to FOX, nice cross-marketing move bringing Joe Millionaire to the show. ***UPDATE************************************* Julia, brunette hairdresser of the "dueling-bitches" and nameless "DenimCap-Boy" were selected by America... the swing vote went to him instead of who I thought would be there.... but in the end, Kimberly, the other "bitch" singlehandedly won the show with her out-bound performance.
