Alanis help me write this song...
(have her help you write one yourself)
"I Think"

I Think caps are really a huge problem
I Think stems are too much on my mind
I Think visions of puke have got a lot to do with why the world sucks
But what can you do?

Like a brilliant teal rain, beating down on me
Like a Lynch line, which won't let go of my brain
Like that slut's ass, it is in my head
Blame it on mushroom soup and sandwiches
Blame it on mushroom soup and sandwiches
Blame it on mushroom soup and sandwiches

I Think odors are gonna drive us all crazy
And shit stains make me feel like a child
I Think piles will eventually be the downfall of civilization
But what can you do? I said what can you do?

Like a brilliant teal rain, beating down on me
Like a Lynch line, which won't let go of my brain
Like that slut's ass, it is in my head
Blame it on mushroom soup and sandwiches
Blame it on mushroom soup and sandwiches
Blame it on mushroom soup and sandwiches

Like a brilliant teal rain, beating down on me
Like that slut's smile, cruel and cold
Like Lynch's ass, it is in my head
Blame it on mushroom soup and sandwiches
Blame it on mushroom soup and sandwiches
Blame it on mushroom soup and sandwiches

SHORT OF DISCRIMINATION
In my rare channel-surfing this week, I caught a short clip of the new FOX new magazine show: "ThePulse" (maybe 60minutes?) as they explored general discrimination against short males. Being a member of this brotherhood, I watched as they proved that people are conditioned to believe taller is healthier, smarter, and better. They gave different types of quizzes to children and single females(all of which were ugly as hell). Despite the undeniable stellar qualities attributed to a short man, the choice was always *not* the shorter man. Who needed to hear this? Not short people, I assure you.

Will there ever be legislation descriminating against short people? Probably not. Moreso than heavy people, medical technology simply doesn't allow us to increase our height. Write me off as an undesirable, illiterate idiot.

TOO MUCH TIME ALONE. hehe

Exchange. Void Replacement Therapy.
For quite some time, this theory of "energy exchange" intrigued. Continues to as well. Watching a nameless movie in which an only son is tragically ripped away from an aging couple, the theory became more interesting to me.

The energy once poured into their son's life now hopelessly "flows" everywhere without productive direction. It's not that we need to replace our beloved when they pass... what I believe *is* important is invest some of this energy in memory, and re-invest in other activities and worthwhile causes.

I believe they call this therapy. Everything makes so much sense when we think that these relationships we have in life are intentional "connections" exchanging "something". That "something" is energy... In this case the energy is charged emotion. It is up to us to decide which emotion will guide our outbound energy.

*** now things that are completely unrelated ***

What it's like.
As a creative information architect and designer, it's a lot like being a audience psychological-analyst and online customer service cosmetic surgeon.

American Idol Voters.
13 yr old punky, tongue-ring bearing girls with unlimited nite-time minutes have done us in. And where will the boy-crazy vote get us all? It's no longer a talent contest. It's popularity thru technological manipulation.

I suspect, as others, that this could really assist Tamyra Gray's career more than actually winning the top-spot. Nikki comments: Nikki needs to pray to lose. Her fans will kill her PR. Let her lose, and she'll win in the end. She also needs a band, and some voice lessons. Justin comments: Your time has come and gone. Sorry. Kelly comments: I hope you win... not sure she is today's next "star" ... amazing voice, but if anything, people know she kicks ass.

This DVD out yet?

HYPER BABBLE.
(listening to eptionic radio... lounge, mathrock, go-go & goth mix... excellent mix...have to remember this selection)

mulletman vs. hixx.
Appears our draped friend, mulletman finds himself embroiled in a heated skirmish of wit, tasteless humour and marginal talent... yet funny.
mulletmantake a listen (twice)... offensive, yet worth a chuckle and you might miss something.

Later this week, there'll be another track and a mass email to his registered minions.

do well again.
Keep reminding... "Must do what I do well." Market or product? I simply don't know. I think it's product... then figure I'm better on the other end. Either way. Just gotta find the niche in or near music. Too tightly integrated. Find the valuable, receptive market and push product. I'll see if this idea has merit, and if there is eventual profit thru some marketshare before saturation by the majors. Might need a saleshead. If only I had a couple hundred laying around. :)

support thru appreciation?
Observation: Theoretically, a problem reigns supreme within a group of geniuses(geni?). A simply "great" idea is often considered passe if it lacks an earth-shattering or ground-breakingly sensational application. A collective ego-check maintains a standard of excellence for matured creations, yet hinders discussion in growth in confidence.

Lesson: Seek appreciation from your audience.

i love lounge surf guitar.
There, I said it.

i heard it.
The production was almost there, only the wrong voice was singing. Loops, groove, handdrums, acoustic guitar. Process vox! I need one to get it out of my system to objectively evaluate if something to merit more or less energy investment. Possible barter for second round services.
Photo. Branding. Productization. BCards. DigitalStationery. Entry Web. CD. Posters. Stickers. Desktops. Trailer.

rock keys.
Another opportunity. Branch-out. Hooks on a lodging deal? hehe
Formidable talent. Mainstream good-times. Treat with as much care as possible... Photography. BCards. DigitalStationery. EntryPLUS-Web. CD? Posters. Stickers. Desktops. Trailer.

art go?
Yea, I'm asking. Other priorities, I suppose. Bigger ideas? Possibly. Guess in some ways all these other projects will somehow feed this "master" project somehow. It's still here. Happening all along. Isn't it all art, anyway? Art of idea creation.

EVOLUTION OF A SONG.
For several years now it's been *my* instrumental. A warming a signature warm-up tune for myself. Couldn't imagine mingling lyrics dancing over the chords. I was wrong.

"ScorpionRose".
Visually, a story unfolds of an exotic mystery. Dynamic and stinging, I enjoy singing this dark and musty melody. Distant thumping... a tribal heartbeat. Once introduced, the rhythm never fades. "An indellible tattoo on your very soul." Finish it.

ATLANTIS ENDS.
Another year at the Atlantis Music Conference comes to an end. Four days and night of learning, networking, listening, talking, smoking, drinking, and standing. Pushed RSP to a limited few and collected quite a few cards. Seems I finally pegged the description of how seanROXMedia helps devloping artists. That felt good. I'll possibly get some new business from a few key contacts. Moreso, 3/4 years of presence has paid off... and that probably helps more than anything.

WHERE HAVE ALL THE ROCKSTARS GONE?
Did I somehow miss the talent? Only a select few showcases were superior. In my own mind, I believe, out of thousands of entries, those selected to play were hand-chosen. Someone conciously "chose" these acts. As a great fan of music, a beginner musician, and as someone that works in the industry... I expect a lot from a performance. I want inspiration to be better. Instead, I somehow feel raging guilt watching and listening to acts I feel pale to my own musical talent! How? Constantly, I'd ask others... "Do I suck as much as these guys!?!" Maybe I do... if so, then, I've done the right thing by not involving myself... instead, I feel inspired to fill the void left by the empty performances we all endured.

Possibly next year, there will be a submission from seanrox. $30. Not too bad to find out. Along with everything else going on... wtf!?! Acoustic and Voice. Guess we'll see.

WHO ROCKED?
Angie Aparo(ultimate voice), UrbanGrind(funkrapcore), Cornbread(countryrock), and TwoSiberians(RockinViolinGuitar).

Life Afterwards...
CDs to listen to. Emails to write. Meetings to schedule. Songs to write. RSP to build. Inspiring none-the-less. Inspire others to be the best they can be. There is success at every diamond... accept it along the way.

Time to rest... peace-
