My So Called Schedule...

Busy. Busy. Busy.

Oh yea... Interesting purchase: So Called Life DVD Set in a lunchbox!
Was a pretty good show, and there was much hoop-la about the show being cancelled... Was it abc?

Screw that... I want this Kamen Rider poster: on Ebay

WHEN YOUR INTERFACE IS A MESS... and you're afraid to sleep.

Force myself to sleep, an hour gone. Who's to say when I may wake? Eight last night... further than anticipated. Same could happen in the morn. yee. So, the attempt continues with consequences beyond the natural.

I've made a mess... 7 days to clean it up. Amazing how something so chaotically clean became... well, just chaotic.

Alas... the world becomes smaller... again.
So, only 9 days til the rsp web radio show launches. A short attention-span blast of unknown and unsigned music and an unhealthy dollop of web-kulture. Nov. 4th is the launch. Nov. 4th!!!!

Returned to the abode from the daily hoop-la, prep mp3s, clean-up, go dive-ward. DickD awaits at 9Lives in L5P.... *phone ring*
(interrupted by TheSmileMaker needing a ride from where he crashed last night... brb)

Anyway... hangin' at 9Lives... couple noncompatable acts played. I chuckled once or twice. While DickD was on-stage, I saw a familiar face at the bar... high school friend, Jeremy Thompson.

Not too odd for most people to meet up with a HS friend. Of course, nothing about my life is ordinary. The reasons why this is odd...

We went to HS in the UK during the 80s. I met back up with him in Denver in '91. Now, 12 years later, at a bar around the corner from my house. Deeper it gets... I've known Jay from DickD for about 1.5 years... Jeremy is his roommate. hehe ... and he's also the drummer for the Grammy-nominated, southern smut-punk band: Nashville Pussy. Head is still spinnin'.

Work to do. Mp3s to tag... Alan Yates at the Redlight tonight.

Pushin' Hard.
Everything is coming together nicely. Disproportionate time on the pet, of course... nothing is too far behind.

In your ear
Test audio stream is in place thanks to a couple of DJs giving me the shortcuts. Listening to 40mins repeatedly is rough on the nerves, but it's important to hear how the insertion and splicing sound. Not too bad, except Live365's commercials suck ass.

BTW, Ra's CD comes out tomorrow... go out and buy it. Make a small wave in your own town.

Proto-designs.
To the right. Posters. To the right... well... i'm tired and need sleep.

72 more to rock.

Bit more juice must flow. Got a hopeful counter.culture turd to plop in 16. Rattle and riddle the files thru a fondu of vocal curry and spice, plug in that mode of wp -- the remote power push, capture those moments of relevence, aurally invoke gratitude and realistic humility... for this is the rock we share, a hardened beat of our heart and the impluse of our extremities.

BTW, eventually we'll understand that all that matters is what we input, how we categorize it, and the manner in which we display this knowledge. Only then do we have real power over data.

The Blur Goal... 1hr.

Project-Central.

RSP.
Yoush... ask and yee shall receive a flood of requests. Two weeks from launching my baby. Although the launch is set for Monday, Nov. 4th, I'm pointing the domain at the messy "construction zone" of a site. The first product of RockSexParty will be a web radio show featuring unsigned, indie bands and...

I just sealed my agreement with the streaming audio host, and it appears I'll also be able to promote SIGNED artists as well. That is, because I'm paying royalties for that. So, I think RSP will most likely launch with two or more featured artists. So... Laya Fisher and RA... will be engrained in your very soul.

ALAN YATES.
Slapped around in a creative session with Alan this week. Gotta go deep to scratch the visual surface. It's all about gaining fans the honest way. It's all about the groove, baby. I threw together this temporary CD Label for his DEMO. It's really not the visuals we'll eventually secure for branding, but it's better than before. Alan's got a sweet acoustic-groove that the chicks dig. hehe

Check out his killer groove tune, "Spaceman" on Atlantic Talent.

MSCINNY.
Almost everything is in place... was a big a ordeal... but it's all worth it. The word spreading, is that this Boston Rock Queen will soon have her very own boob tube spot: JamSpace... video examples of the video guy were great quality... hopefully it'll transfer well into a program. It's all about canning your lighting, graphics and titling magic with broadcast TV. Should be interesting.... oh yea, and fun.

JW.
We're moving ahead finally! We've got two sets of tiny billboards at the printers... and the web site re-design is coming up very soon.

LP
Hypnotherapist converts well on web. Story at 11. Guess my web-voodoo isn't poopoo.

WEEKEND WWWARRIOR

No pixel has been left unturned while I happily labor. Minimal f2f interaction does a mind good, actually. Time to think things through without distraction. Bcards, Blog Integration, CD Labels, WebDesign, and hosting issues. It's what I've wanted, so there is not unhappiness in that. Before, when there was no project... *that* was sadness. The fact I continue to spend the majority of my life sitting in this $5 chair I bought in 1995 is beyond me though... i guess they simply don't make a chair like this any more. Wide seat, low and straight back, no arms... can't wave.

About desks...
I've sat at quite a few desks. Some are good for different reasons. Mine here at home... the best. It's a sturdy art table. Deeper than wide, yet wide enuff for a 21" and a 19" to sit side by side.

It's the slight downward angle that makes it perfect, I think. It "greets" me. :) Watch out for sliding soda cans though.

Count of Monte Cristo
Saw the DVD. Loved the book back in '89. Story embraces so much... epic journeys have long been my favorite stories. Someday I hope to have experienced enough extraordinary events to properly tie together a tale worth telling... knowing me... it'll make sense to a small audience.

The night...
As it rolls into 6am, in conversation about this "moonlight-living" revealed the fact... it's so peaceful at night, it seems a shame to waste it by sleeping.

Now I must waste. Bleach me at 1300.

STORIES BY EMAIL.
Most suck. Most are too long. Most I've already seen and thought they sucked and were too long. My dad sent this one today... twas perfect, and funny:
Almost 150 years ago, President Lincoln found it necessary to hire a private investigator -Alan
Pinkerton
- for protection (since Lincoln was shot, I wouldn't recommend this agency) That was the beginning of the Secret Service. Since that time federal police authority has grown to a large number of multi-letter agencies - FBI, CIA, INS, IRS, DEA, BATF, etc.

Now comes the "Federal Air Transportation Airport Security Service." Can't you see them now, these highly trained men and women in their black outfits with their initials in large white letters across their backs:

"FATASS." I feel safer already

Way to go, pops!

Welcome to the weaving world of people one might meet and meet again. Why do I look so damn serious? Lighten up man.
