Capture. Bend the walls. Instill curiosity.

Surrealism moved out of picture frame years ago. We've all graduated from third-party perception of liquified clocks and awkward collections of objects. Now, surrealism is your own living space, challenging your personal perception.

An artist offers an elastic catalyst of perception for others' realities. My challenge is to capture the details of a peaceful moment, perceptually alter the architecture (bend those walls) around this vision with every apect of light and texture left in place, and create a pool of reflection for you to wade through with perpetual curiosity.

Collectors enjoy the challenge of intrigue, the love of stimulation, and possess the strength to step away from the concept of "pictures on the wall". The works bestow the level of energy you invest. A friend of mine once said to me, "your art will be where it should be." Now, I believe I understand what she was saying.

Early influence by the mixed media of Salvador Dali and David Lynch alike, Sean moves to visually misplace perception in the most peaceful manner. Creating curiosity through light and imagery. Bending the rules of historic surrealism, pop-art, and traditional art philosophies, his works are "peaceful curiosities" beyond the first view.
